The Maintenance Technician program prepares the student for entry-level employment within a wide variety of maintenance-related fields. The Program & Courses also includes the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10- hour general safety online certification. The program features specialized instruction within areas such as nondestructive testing, inspection, and assessment of maintenance projects, welding, wind energy, 3D printing, or other areas that the local campus and employers have designated as essential within the maintenance industry. The student is also guided in following process procedures, adequately documenting maintenance procedures within forms and records, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment, and developing skills as a maintenance professional.
